Rebecca Lyn (LaMar) Hoskins

Rebecca “Becky” Lyn Hoskins, 55, of Frankfort, passed away Monday, July 15, 2024, at Franciscan Hospital Lafayette East. She was born January 28, 1969, in Frankfort to Robert “Bob” and Gail (Dircks) LaMar. She married Troy Hoskins on July 6, 2018, and he survives.

Becky was a graduate of Clinton Central High School in 1987. She then graduated from Ivy Tech. She worked at Mallory Timers, Federal Mogul, and then as production associate at Subaru. Becky attended Michigantown Christian Church. She enjoyed playing games, camping, flowers, attending area festivals, being in the pool, and anything purple. She collected angels, snowmen, and gnomes. She was a cat lover, but above all she loved her family. Becky loved being a mother and a grandmother and cherished the countless memories with her family. She was a big-hearted person, and anyone that met her loved her. She will be missed by many.

Along with her husband of 6 years, Becky is survived by her mother, daughters, Ashley (Biswadeep) Das Gupta and Chelsey Lucas; stepson, Spencer Hoskins; sisters, Ann (Todd) Ottinger and Jenni (Karla) LaMar; grandchildren, Bodhi and Ayana and Malakai; mother-in-law, Sharon Hoskins, brother-in-law, Doug (Karlena) Marsh, sisters-in-law Michelle (Rick) Cox, Melissa (Jeff) Hubler; several nieces and nephews; and many loving friends. 

She was preceded in death by her father and father-in-law, Langford Hoskins.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 20, 2024, from 10am until the time of the funeral service at 1pm at Day & Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. Pastor Karl Kerchival will officiate.
