Regina J. Brittain, 50, of Lizton, died at 3:35 p.m. June 12, 2011 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
Ms. Brittain was born Oct. 6, 1960 in Frankfort to Jimmy and Karen (Lewis) Hinton.
She was a massage therapist and surgical tech at St. Vincent Frankfort Hospital and lived a most of her life in Frankfort.
She graduated Frankfort Senior High School in 1979; graduated Ivy Tech in 1991; was recently licensed as a massage therapist; was a big NASCAR fan, especially of Tony Stewart; and always up for good times and fun. While in school she was a member of Rainbow.
Surviving are two daughters, Shannon (husband Daniel) Cruz, of Forest and Brittney Baker Clark, of Frankfort; one son, Jeremy Baker, of Indianapolis; one sister, Cheryl (husband Ed) Carney of Frankfort; one brother, Jimmy (wife Tammy) Hinton, Jr. of Frankfort; her companion, Joe Heady, of Lizton; and six grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Genda Funeral Home. Pastor Greg Davis will officiate the services. Calling will occur from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial will occur in Bunnell Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
