Rhett N. Smith

Rhett Nicholas Smith, 17, Montgomery, died at 11:45 p.m. July 23, 2011.

Rhett was born Nov. 7, 1993 in Frankfort to Darrell and Stephanie (Bray) Smith. He attended schools in Frankfort, Williamsport and Washington.  He enjoyed boxing, fishing and hunting with his dad, and spending time with his family.

Surviving with his parents of Washington are one sister, Mackenzie; three brothers, Donald, Taylor and Kolten; maternal grandparents Pamela Hunter-Aguilar and Richard Bray; maternal step-grandmother, Edie Bray; paternal grandparents, Larry and Elizabeth Barker; maternal great-grandparents, Charlene Owen-Behr and  Ernie Owen; 10 aunts, seven uncles, great-aunts and great-uncles and cousins; and Andrea Jewell, soon-to-be mother of their firstborn.

Services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at Genda Funeral Home. Pastor Cliff Howell will officiate the services. Calling will occur from 4 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will occur in Bunnell Cemetery at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 28, 2011.

Memorials may be made to Andrea for their future baby.
