Richard T. Purcifull

Richard T. Purcifull, 85, of Frankfort, passed away on, Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Aperion Care of Frankfort.   He was born April 4, 1933 in Frankfort to Raymond Orval and Emma (Thompson) Purcifull.  In 1950, Richard graduated from Jackson High School. He had worked at a garment factory for a few years and had also worked on the family farm in Jackson Township across the road from the Scotland Christian church.

Richard was a member of the Scotland Christian Church and enjoyed the music of hymns.  He attended the church services held at Clinton House. He will be missed by the staff since he had lived there since 2009.

Richard is survived by his second cousins, Andrea Lucas Shriver, Jacqueline Cook Snyder, and Rett Lucas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first cousins Peggy Sims Lucas and Mary Lou Simpson Buck; second cousin, Jeri Jo Buck Kingery: sisters of his mother, Katherine Sims, Edna Simpson, and Blanche Howell and an uncle, Charles Thompson.

A graveside service will be held on April 25th at 11:00 A.M. at Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort with Pastor Emmett Ade officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Scotland Christian Church, 4001 E. Scotland Rd., Kirklin, IN  46050.
