Robert E. ""Bob"" Kelly

Robert Ernest “Bob” Kelly, 73, of St. Petersburg, Fla., passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013, in St. Petersburg.

He was born April 4, 1940, in Coloma, Mich., the son of Max and Charlotte Kelly.

He married the former Judith Miller; she preceded him in death.

Bob was raised in Cutler.  After 35 years, he retired from Rostone in Lafayette.  Bob enjoyed fishing and going on vacations with his family.

He is survived by four children, Teresa Kelly of St. Petersburg, Fla., Robert “Bobby” (Ruth) Kelly of Michigantown, Chris (Angie) Kelly of Delphi, and Jennifer (Kevin) Beck of Delphi; six siblings, Ralph (Susan) Kelly of Rossville, Max (Beverly) Kelly of Flora, Jack (Luanna) Kelly of Corinth, Kentucky, Terry (Phylis) Kelly of Cutler, Rick (Dee) Kelly of Lafayette, and Peggy (Robert) Kelly Goris of Cutler; seven grandchildren, Joshua Smith, Jessica Hawkins, Michael Smith, Sonya Claiborne, Abigail Claiborne, Jermery Kelly, and Keefe Kelly; and four great grandchildren, Skyler Smith, Jacqualine Smith, Alexys Johnson, and Luke Kelly.

In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service in Bob’s honor will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 15, 2013, at Cutler Presbyterian Church in Cutler with one hour of visitation prior to the service.  Pastor Woody Slade will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in Angie Kelly’s name.
