Robert Lee Woods

Robert Lee Woods, 77, of Frankfort, passed away Monday, July 14, 2014, at Clinton House Health and Rehab Center.

He was born July 14, 1937, in Delphi, the son of Charles Edward and Clara Miller Woods.  He was previously married to Nancy Cripe Randle.  Robert later married Linda Green; she preceded him in death.

Robert graduated from Delphi High School in 1957.  Throughout his life, Robert worked for Fairfield, Unarco Rohn, and Harmeson Manufacturing.  He was a former member of the Eagles Lodge and went by the CB handle “Yellow Canary.”

Robert is survived by his daughters, Christina L. Woods of Frankfort, Beverly Ann Clear of Kokomo, Nancie A. (Billy) Kressley of Frankfort, and Tonya Yates of Greensburg, KY; 11 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

Visitation for Robert will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2014, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort.  Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 18, 2014, at the funeral home with Pastor Michael Boling officiating.  Burial will follow in Kilmore Cemetery.  Memorials in Robert’s name may be made to Clinton County Cancer.  Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
