Robert Walker, Jr.

Robert James Walker, Jr., 64, of Frankfort, IN, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2020, at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette. He was born March 15, 1956, in Frankfort, to R.J. "Whitey" and Sarah E. Payne Walker. He married Claudia Jean Walker and she precedes him in death.

Robert was a 1974 graduate of Frankfort High School. He served in the US Army for 20 years. He had worked as a security guard in North Carolina prior to moving back to Frankfort.  He enjoyed car shows, his 2005 yellow Corvette, fishing, deer hunting, and going out to eat.

Robert is survived by his mother; brother, Dennis D. Walker of Frankfort; twin sister, Brenda S. Winegar of Kempton, and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his wife, Robert is preceded in death by his father, and sister, Linda L. Staley.

Funeral service will be private.  Burial will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery in Frankfort. Memorials in Robert's name may be made to Clinton County Humane Society, PO Box 455, Frankfort, IN 46041.   Arrangements are entrusted to Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort.
