Roger L. Smock, 61, formerly of Monticello, passed away Friday, March 20, 2015, at his home in Frankfort.
He was born October 15, 1953, in Frankfort, to Robert E. and Eleanor J. Smith Smock.
Roger graduated from Lowell High School and then served in the United States Military. In recent years, Roger enjoyed working on the family farm.
Surviving are brothers, Bob Smock (wife Suzanne) of Monticello, IN, Bill Smock of Idaville, IN, and Phil Smock (wife Elaine) of Columbia City, IN; daughters, Kindra Bupp (husband Travis) of Missouri, Shayla Smock of Texas, and Kayla Smock of Iowa; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Roger was preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 13, 2015, at Rossville Cemetery, Rossville, IN. Arrangements are entrusted to Genda Funeral Home Rossville Chapel. Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
