Rosadella Ann Miller-Parsons, 68, of Sedalia, died at 8:39 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011 at her residence.
She was born Dec. 3, 1942, in North Manchester, to the late Walter and Tressie (Yoder) Blocher.
Mrs. Miller-Parson was a nursing assistant at Timbercrest Nursing Home in North Manchester and various other places. She was also a cook at Milnerâs in Rossville, retired in 2003.
She moved to Sedalia in 1976 from North Manchester. She was Baptized into the Eel River Old German Baptist Brethren Church on Aug. 1, 1958 and attended Middlefork Old German Baptist Brethren Church. She assisted with the Friends of Bill W., participated in T.O.P.S. and attended schools in Silver Lake. She enjoyed fishing.
On Dec. 3, 1961, she married Richard E. Miller, who died Oct. 4, 2001. On April 1, 2009 she married Phil Ray Parsons, who is surviving in Franfort.
Surviving are 1 Son - Marvin Miller of Elizabethtown, IN, 3 Daughters - Sharon Stowers of Sedalia, Carlene Lewis (husband Brian) of Cutler and Kay Stevens (husband Ray) of Rossville, 4 Step Children , 4 Sisters- Dorothy Blocher of South Whitley, IN, Donna Metzger (husband Phil) of Claypool, IN, Joy Wolf (husband David) of Pyrmont, IN and Eileen Cahill (husband Bill) of Colfax, 3 Brothers - Arthur Blocher (wife Anita) of Florida, Danny Blocker (wife Michelle) of North Manchester, IN and Walter Jr. Blocher (wife Tana) of Pierceton, IN and a step-mother, Marie Blocher, Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and several step-grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren.
Services are Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Middlefork Old German Baptist Brethren Church with officiating minister Home Brethren. Place of burial will be at Middlefork Old German Baptist Brethren Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday 4-8p.m. and Friday 3-8 p.m. at Bodine Funeral Home, Rossville.
