Ruth Ann Hernandez

Ruth Ann Hernandez, 35, of Frankfort, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2013, at St. Vincent Heart Center in Indianapolis.

She was born August 12, 1977, in Frankfort, the daughter of Raul Perez Jr. and Tomacita Sandoval Perez; her parents survive.  On December 12, 2012, she married Sergio Hernandez; he survives.

In 1996, Ruth graduated from Frankfort High School.  Ruth worked for Pearson Eduation for over 11 years and also for Long John Silver’s for seven years.  She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and enjoyed dancing.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by one son Raul Angel Perez of Frankfort; two sisters, Maria (Robert) Ruiz and Victoria Perez (Mauricio Sanchez), both of Frankfort; two brothers, Raul Perez III and Emmanuel Perez, both of Frankfort; grandfather, Raul Perez Sr.; one niece, Cesilia Sanchez; and one nephews, Nico Sanchez.

Visitation for Ruth will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2013, from 3:00 -6:00 p.m. at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort.  Funeral mass for Ruth will be held on Monday, July 1, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Frankfort with Fr. Chris Miller presiding.  Ruth’s wish was for no longer used eyeglasses to be donated to the Lion’s Club in her memory.  On-line condolences may be directed to gendafuneralhome.com.
