Sara J. Robbins Phillips, 67, 1412 Wilshire Drive Apt. 2, died at 1:30
a.m. April 8, 2011, at home.
Mrs. Phillips attended Frankfort High School, graduating in 1961. She
worked 12 years at Pearson Education in Lebanon before retiring in 2010.
She was an avid reader, movie buff, loved vacation trips with her sisters
and loved the wine country.
She was born Sept. 14, 1943, in Frankfort to Russell and Bernadine
(Morrison) Robbins. She married James J. Phillips on June 29, 1968, and he
preceded her in death on May 12, 1978.
Survivors include one son, James Phillips of Frankfort; three daughters,
Angela (husband Kent) Royer of Cincinnati and Toni Gunyon and Elizabeth
âBunnieâ (husband Larry) Gibson, both of Frankfort; two brothers,
Edward (wife Linda) Robbins of Pennsylvania and James (wife Jean) Robbins of
Frankfort; two sisters, Rebecca âBeckyâ (husband Butch) Williams of
California and Margaret (husband Jim) Bryner of Virginia; 12 grandchildren
and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; two brothers,
Charles and Tommy Lee Robbins; and one sister, Mary Phillips.
Services will be 7 p.m. Monday at Genda Funeral Home with Pastor Bud Moody
officiating. Burial will be in Scircleville Cemetery. Calling is 4-7 p.m.
Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Clinton County Cancer.
