Sara Roberts-Marriott

Sara J. Roberts-Marriott, 82, of Lafayette, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023 at Creasy Springs Health Campus in Lafayette.  She was born on March 18, 1941, in Dayton, to James and Maxine (Reynolds) Baker.  She first married Larry Roberts; he preceded her in death.  She then married Niles Marriott; he also preceded her in death.

Sara attended Dayton High School and Indiana Business College.  She was a resident of Naples, Florida for over 20 years before moving back to Indiana.  She enjoyed traveling, being near the ocean, reading and bird watching, especially Purple Martins.

Sara is survived by her children, Mike Roberts, Rick Roberts, and Scott Roberts; a brother Thomas Baker and several grandchildren.

Along with her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Jim Roberts; brother Richard Baker and sister, Margaret Thornton.
