Sheila Jane Bell

Sheila Jane Bell, 59, of Peru, died on Saturday, September 8, 2012, at 12:40 a.m. at Dukes Memorial Hospital in Peru.

She was born September 14, 1952, in Ft. Lewis, Wash., the daughter of Hubert and Mildred Mooers McGinnis.

After graduating from Frankfort High School in 1971, she worked as a receptionist and CNA for Wesley Manor and later worked for Caring Hands in Peru as a housekeeper.  Sheila attended Bunker Hill United Methodist Church.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling, Facebook and her dog, Ivory.

Surviving are two daughter, Patricia “Patty” Bell and Katrina Bennett; two sisters, Phyllis Bradley and Pat Smith; one grandson, Darrion Young; close friend, Missy West; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Friends and family may call from 10 a.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2012, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, until the memorial service at 11 a.m.

Memorials in Shelia’s name may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
