Shirley Ann âNanâ Wood, 70, Frankfort, died at home 5 p.m. Sept. 7, 2011.
She was born May 31, 1941 in Frankfort, the daughter of Linzy and Martha Faye (Hall) Crick.
She attended Scircleville school, and loved bingo, John Wayne and volunteering at Parkview Home. She was a lifelong Frankfort resident, a member of Eagles Auxiliary and a loving grandma who babysat for her grandchildren.
She is survived by her mother of Frankfort; three daughters, Mary (husband Chuck) Biddle, Tina (husband Randy) Cottrell and Shannon (husband Alan) Tyler, all of Frankfort; four sons, Bill (wife Patty) Wood, Frankfort, Gary (wife Cindy) Wood, Frankfort, Steve (wife Lou) Wood, Clinton, AR and Chris (wife Anna) Sellers, Frankfort; four sisters, Omia Jean (husband Robert) Donoho, Caryline Huffer, Betty Crick and Jane Pletch, all of Frankfort; 23 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Wanda Wooley, and one brother, Jim âBubâ Crick.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 12, 2011 at Genda Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. Calling hours are 2-6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11 at Genda Funeral Home.
