Stella Bartley

Stella Bartley, 89 of Frankfort passed away on Monday, October 10, 2016 at Clinton House Health and Rehab.  She was born May 19, 1927 in Sevierville, TN, to David and Elvery Smelzer Tinker. Stella was formerly married to Robert “Junior” Gann; together they had three wonderful children.  She later married Roy S. Bartley in 1959; he preceded her in death in 1979.

Stella was a member of Harmony Baptist Church in Frankfort. She enjoyed sewing and flowers.

Surviving are her children, Robert (Barb) Gann of Sevierville, Tennessee, Gene Gann (Mary Foster) of Colfax and Judy (Ron) Crum of Frankfort; grandchildren, Clarrissa (Doug) Earl, Marissa (Mark) George, Winston (Amanda) Hoskins II, and Roy Hoskins (fiancée, Julia Wolf); 11 great-grandchildren and one sister, Ezalee Newman of Pigeon Forge, TN.

In addition to her husband, Stella is preceded in death by her other siblings.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at the Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort with Pastor Wayne Martin officiating.  Burial will follow at Kilmore Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Wednesday at the funeral home from 11:00a.m. until the time of service.
