Susan E. Ayres

Born in Frankfort on March 4, 1953, Susan was the daughter of Joseph P. and Georgia Ann (Rogers) Ayres, Sr.  She worked as a Certified Nurse Aide at Park View in Lebanon, Mulberry Health, and Clinton House.  She also took care of her parents before their deaths.

Susan attended First Church of the Nazarene and was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and Women of the Moose #302, where she served as Past Senior Regent, College of Regents and in the Academy of Friendship.  She enjoyed bowling and playing Bingo.

Surviving Susan is her brother, Ricky Ayres, of Frankfort, and two sisters, Jayne (Richard) Kuhns of Frankfort and Janet (Paul) Ottinger of Marion, NC.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Joseph P Ayres, Jr. and infant Bruce W. Ayres; and sister, Sandra Stingley.

Visitation will be Monday, November 27, 2023, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Day & Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort.  Memorials in Susan’s name can be made to Women of the Moose #302 or the VFW Auxiliary.  Messages of condolence are welcomed at www.dayandgenda.com.
