Tammy (Penyak) De Vos

Tammy Lynn (Penyak) De Vos, 57, of Flora, IN, passed away at 4:16 pm on May 27th 2023 at IU Arnett in Lafayette, IN. She was born to Andrew Penyak and Cherry (Ridenour) Armet, on March 1st, 1966, who survive. On September 19th, 1987, Tammy married her high school sweetheart Christian De Vos who also survives.

She graduated from Carroll High School in 1986, and later studied at the Lafayette Beauty Academy. Tammy then went to work as a freelance nail technician for many clients. She also worked at Holly’s Hair Hut for several years.  Tammy loved people; and also had a heart for working in in-home care for disabled adults through Wabash Valley.

In her free time Tammy had a passion for spending time outdoors - camping, hiking, fishing, gardening, and kayaking. She loved all people and animals, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was known for having a generous, caring heart and also for being a great cook.

Surviving Tammy are her children, Chelsea (TJ) Fields, Keigan (Marlana) De Vos, Peyton De Vos; Sister, Deborah Penyak; Grandchildren, Briella De Vos, Liam Rose, Harry Fields, Olivia De Vos; and another grandchild on the way, Benjamin De Vos.
