Tania Santillan

Tania Santillan, 33, of Lebanon, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2022, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Tania was born in Guanajuato, Mexico, on December 18, 1988, to Jose Santillan and Gloria Alanis.  She graduated from Del Nort High School in California.  After receiving her medical assistant certification, she worked for IU Health in Lafayette.

Being a mom was Tania’s greatest love.  She enjoyed taking her kids swimming, dancing, going to the movies and shopping.

Tania is survived by her parents; her children, Julissa Santillan, Ruben A. Santillan, and Monserrat Santillan; her brother, Juan R. Santillan; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Visitation will be Friday, July 8, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort.  Funeral Mass will be Saturday, July 9, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 600 St. Mary’s Avenue, Frankfort, Indiana.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.

Tania nació en Guanajuato, México, el 18 de diciembre de 1988, hija de José Santillán y Gloria Alanis.  Se graduó de Del Nort High School en California.  Después de recibir su certificación de asistente médico, trabajó para IU Health en Lafayette.

Ser mamá fue el mayor amor de Tania.  Le gustaba llevar a sus hijos a nadar, bailar, ir al cine y comprar.

A Tania le sobreviven sus padres; sus hijos, Julissa Santillán, Rubén A. Santillán y Monserrat Santillán; su hermano, Juan R. Santillán; y muchos tíos, tías y primos.

La visita será el viernes 8 de julio de 2022, de 4:00 p.m. a 7:00 p.m. en Genda Funeral Home en Frankfort.  La misa fúnebre será el sábado 9 de julio de 2022 a las 10:30 a.m. en la Iglesia Católica de St. Mary, 600 St. Mary's Avenue, Frankfort, Indiana.  En lugar de flores, la familia pide que se hagan donaciones a la funeraria para ayudar con los gastos.
