Terry E. Goodwin

Terry E. Goodwin, 77, of Frankfort, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2025, at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette. He was born January 4, 1948, in Frankfort to William Goodwin and Rosalie (Allen) Watkins. He married Lois Daniels on June 27, 1987, and she survives.

Terry attended Frankfort Senior High School. He worked for Federal Mogul for 46 years before his retirement in 2011. He was a member of Local UAW 1949 and Deer Track Golf Club. He loved golfing, fishing, working on cars, and exercising with his wife. He loved his family greatly, and enjoyed making memories with them, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be remembered for his willingness to help others and his giving heart. 

Along with his wife of 37 years, Terry is survived by his sons, David Goodwin and Brian (Candi) Goodwin; daughters, Karen (Cammy) Skiles and Sheila (Gary) Rice; brother, Carl (Brenda) Goodwin; sister, Donna Eimen; grandchildren, Katelyn (Kent) Smith, Kera (Josh Gudat) Rice, Kayli (Charlie Whitbread) Rice, and Corbin Goodwin; and great grandchildren, Maeve and Leon Smith; special nephews, Scott and Todd Eimen; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held, Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 12pm until the time of the service at 2pm at Day & Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. Burial will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
