Thelma A. Bryan

Thelma A. Bryan, 95, of Mulberry, died at 6:50 p.m. Friday, April 20, 2012 at Mulberry Health and Retirement community.

She was born March 12, 1917 in Middlefork, to Jessie C. and Bessie L. (Viney) Koble. She married Leo R. Bryan Feb. 29, 1936. He preceded her in death Aug. 1, 1979.

Thelma was a lifelong resident of Clinton County residing in Mulberry since 1940.  She graduated from Rossville High School in 1936, and also resided in Clarks Hill and Rossville areas. She was a teller and bookkeeper at the Farmers Bank in Mulberry for 15 years retiring in 1968. She attended the Mulberry United Methodist Church and was a former secretary and member of the Mulberry Community Club.

She is survived by a son: Richard Lee (Pat) Pat Bryan; a daughter: Sandra Sue (Max) Rothenberger; a sister: Betty Fetterhoff; a sister-in-law: Esther Koble; and five grandchildren:  Jeff (DeeDee) Bryan,

Lisa Bryan (Tony) Crago, Julie Bryan(Danny) Hunt, Brian (Melissa) Rothenberger, Mark (Karen) Rothenberger, 11 great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother: Dale Koble; and two sisters: Esther Bullock and Edna Patrick.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 24 at Bodine Funeral Home, Mulberry. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 25 in the Mulberry Health and Retirement Community Room with 1 hours of visitation prior to the service with Chaplain Scott Ellison officiating.
