Thelma Ruth Hillman, 90, of Frankfort, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo.
She was born April 14, 1926, in Frankfort, to James T. and Dora A. Reed Seabolt. On September 2, 1944, she married Charles W. Hillman; he preceded her in death on June 5, 2001.
Thelma was a life-long resident of Frankfort and worked at Mallory Controls for 35 years before retiring. She was a member of the Church of Christ and volunteer at Wesley Manor.
Surviving are her son-in-law, Jerry (Kathy) Fisher, of Clara, OK; grandchildren, Roxanne Jackson, of Wichita, KS, and Danny Fisher, of Springfield, MO; great-grandchildren, Tyler Jackson and Emily Jane Lene; great-great grandchildren, Keisha, Trey, Jace, and Jayden; and sister, Mary Kay (Gene) Williams, of Logansport.
In addition to her husband, Thelma is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Nancy J. Fisher; great-grandson, Caleb Jackson; and sister, Elise H. Cave.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 10, 2017, from 4:00 â 6:00 p.m. at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. Funeral service for Thelma will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery in Frankfort.
