Theo I. Ross, 86, of Frankfort, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2014, at Clinton House Health and Rehab in Frankfort.
She was born July 24, 1926, in Frankfort to Roscoe and Bessie Higer Ferguson. Theo married Ren Maiden; he passed away in World War II. She later married James Marrow; they divorced. She then married Bob Ross; they later divorced.
Theo graduated from Colfax High School. She worked at J.C. Penny in Frankfort and also Savinâs. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Colfax. She attended First Baptist Church in Frankfort before moving to Florida where she attended Unitarian Church. Theo loved animals; she always had pets especially dogs and birds. She enjoyed word searches and spending time with children, grandchildren, and friends.
Theo is survived by her daughter, Rheta Davis of Frankfort; four grandchildren, Brett (Chastity) Disinger, Natalie Perez, Jeremy (Tisha) Payne, and Daniel (Annette) Davis; 22 great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her first husband, Theo is preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Reba, one son, Jake Morrow, and three brothers.
Visitation for Theo will be held on Sunday, March 30, 2014, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, from 1:00 p.m. to the start of the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Pastor Bob Woods will officiate. Inurnment will be at Plainview Cemetery in Colfax at a later date. Memorials in Theoâs name may be made to the Alzheimerâs Association or Clinton County Humane Society.
