Thomas Butler Clark, 79, of Frankfort, died Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at his home.
He was born April 12, 1933 in Frankfort, to William J. and Ethel M. (Ambers) Clark.
A lifelong Frankfort resident, he attended Frankfort schools and served in the U.S. Air Force in 1953 until honorably discharged. He retired from St. Vincent Frankfort Hospital. He enjoyed playing pool and golfing. His letters to the Editor of the Frankfort Times, were often times thought provoking, which he sent several. He was a member of VFW Post 1110, American Legion Post 12 and Eagles Lodge.
He is survived by two sons: Randy (Mary) and Troy Clark, both of Michigantown; two sisters: Mary Catherine (Myrl) Suddarth of Del Rio Tenn. And Phyllis Sue (Randy) Hall of Plainfield; a brother: John (Gloria) Clark of Frankfort; long-time companion Shirley Galvin; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a daughter: Mellisa; two sisters and a brother
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 15 at Genda Funeral Home. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Bunnell Cemetery. Online condolences may be directed to gendafuneralhome.com.
