Tim Grayless, 59, of Rossville, died at 10:55 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2011, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born Sept. 27, 1951, in Terre Haute, he was the son of the late Orville and Anna (Head) Grayless. He was a 1969 graduate of Garfield High School and received an associate degree from Ivy Tech in Electronics Technology.
He married Doreen McCollough on Aug. 15, 1998. She survives in Rossville.
Mr. Grayless served in the Navy during Vietnam. He loved fishing, mushroom hunting, and the Green Bay Packers. He was a Computer Tech at Indiana State University and Purdue University for 10 years and was a local pastor at Jefferson, Hope, Michigantown, Leiters Ford and Monterey United Methodist Churches for the past 10 years. He was a member of the Rossville United Methodist Church. He served as a voluneer chaplain in Clinton County, was a member of Burning Hearts and served in the Emmaus Community.
Surviving with his wife are one son, Andy Wilson (wife: Shandi) of Lafayette; two daughters, Megan Wilson of Rossville and Erin Wilson of Palo Alto, Calif.; four sisters, Lou Anne Burns, Teressa Grayless, Beth Grayless and Mary Grayless, and two brothers, Junior Grayless and Richard Grayless.
Also preceding in death are a daughter, Tammy Sue, and a brother, Greg.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Bodine Funeral Home in Rossville. Service is Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Rossville United Methodist Church. Pastors Rick Jones, Carl Leth and Steven Rundel officiating. Private burial. Memorials may be made to Rossville United Methodist Church.
