Timothy Robinson

Timothy Gene Robinson left us unexpectedly on June 16, 2023 at the age of 54. He was born in Lafayette, IN on December 13, 1968, to Ernest E. and Patricia A. Robinson. He graduated from Lafayette Jeff High School in 1987 and then attended Purdue University. He worked at Subaru Automotive for 26 years. He married his soulmate Holly (Harshbarger) Robinson on November 16, 2012 and she survives.

Tim loved to laugh and have fun more than anything. Even if it meant dropping dollars at the casino playing games. He was competitive with family games, could never hold a tune while singing karaoke, but  always made sure everyone had a good time and laughed with him. He enjoyed watching the Chicago Bears and Purdue basketball/football. He loved being outdoors, soaking up the sun while cooking on the grill. Vacationing with his wife is what he enjoyed the most. His children and grandchildren brought him lots of happiness and pride.

Surviving along with his wife are his children: Daughters: Emily Robinson of Monticello, Anna Robinson of Auburn, and Kelsey (Cade) Wellman of Michigantown. Son: Logan Spears of Rossville. Grandchildren: Hunter and Brixton Wellman of Michigantown

Also surviving are his parents Ernest E. and Patricia A. Robinson of Lafayette. Brother: Anthony (Sabrina) Robinson of Lafayette. Brother-in-laws: Shannon (Heather) Harshbarger of Rossville and Ryan (Holly) Harshbarger of Sheridan. Father and Mother in-law, Kevin and Jenny Harshbarger of Rossville. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Preceded in death by: Paternal grandparents Ernest and Ethel Robinson and maternal grandmother Jean Cook and nephew Billy Robinson.

Visitation will be held Saturday, June 24, 2023 from 12 pm until the time of the service at 4pm at Day & Genda Funeral Home ~ Bodine Chapel.
