Tony R. Marcum

Tony R. Marcum, 67, of Frankfort, passed away February 28, 2025, at Kokomo Health Care Center. He was born June 5, 1957, in Clinton County to James E. Marcum and Judith Sharon (Hackerd) Keever. Tony married Debra Lashbrook on June 5, 1976. She preceded him in death on December 13, 2008.

Tony was a graduate of Frankfort High School, class of 1977. He served in the United States Army, and then the National Guard for nearly 20 years. He worked for General Seating and then NHK and the Frankfort Country Club. He attended Faith Family Church in Frankfort. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge. He an avid golfer and Chicago Bears fan. He enjoyed watching Chicago Cubs baseball, riding his motorcycle, and cooking on his grill. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and ability to play pranks. He never met a stranger and loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his son, Tadd J. Marcum; his siblings, Tanny (Rick) Irwin, Joni R. Hendrix, and Todd (Mary) Keever; grandchildren, Benjamin A. Marcum, Alexis Marcum, Katelyn Marcum, Jocelyn Marcum; a nephew, Chad Marcum; and a great grandchild.

Along with his wife, Tony was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Nathan and Ian Marcum; brothers, Jamie H. Marcum and Brian R. Keever; and father-in-law, Harold Lashbrook.

Visitation will be held, Tuesday, March 4, 2025, from 5-8pm at Day & Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. A private family burial will be held at a later date at Green Lawn Cemetery.
