Troy Edward Miller, 46, of Frankfort, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2012, at Milnerâs Community Health Center in Rossville.
He was born June 27, 1966, in Frankfort, the son of the Adrian R. âBudâ Sue Cheek Davis; his mother survives.
Troy worked as a D.J. and previously as an assistant activities director at Clinton House, at Federal Mogle, Pizza King and various other positions. He was a member of Michigantown United Methodist Church and attended both Souls Harbor Baptist Church and Memorial Parkway Church of Christ; Troy was an avid sports fan especially IU Basketball and Tennessee Titans Football. Troy had a bigger than life personality and befriended anyone.
Surviving Troy are his children, Greta Bridgman, Hailey Miller, and Braydie Miller; sister, Adrianne David; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charlie âJoeyâ and Lori Miller, Craig Davis, and Anthony and Kathleen Davis; maternal grandmother, Daisy Cheek; nephews, Tyler Davis, Billy Godby, and Caleb Miller; and niece, Shelby Hands.
He is also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Glen and Mabel Davis; maternal grandfather, Charlie Cheek, Sr.; uncle, Charlie Cheek, Jr.; and niece, Ashley Godby.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, from 4-8 pm at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2012, at 10:30 am at the funeral home with Pastors Bob Bogue and Jim Gordon officiating.
Burial will follow in Scott Cemetery in Scircleville, IN.
