Victor Wells

Victor E. Wells, 57, of Frankfort, died at noon on Friday, Feb. 18, 2011, at his residence. Born Aug. 5, 1 53, in Frankfort, he was the son of Shirley R. (Howson) Scott and the late Ramon G. Wells. His marriage was to Vicki Walker Wells on Aug. 2, 1981, and she survives.  

He graduated from Frankfort High School in 1971 and was an Army veteran who had served from 1971 to 1974. Mr. Wells worked at Sun Chemical for 33 years. His memberships included Scotland Christian Church, Eagles, American Legion and Darlington Conservation Club. He loved playing guitar and played in the band “Free Noise.” He also enjoyed camping, fishing, playing golf and was a big Three Stooges fan. He enjoyed reading his Bible, participating in Bible studies, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving with his wife and mother and stepfather, Wesley Scott, of Frankfort are a son, Jason Wells (wife: Jennifer) of Frankfort; a daughter, Jessica Wells of Frankfort; a sister, Sandy Birge of Lafayette; a stepsister, Pam Reeder (husband: Mike) of Frankfort; and three stepbrothers, Joe Scott (wife: Darlene) of Frankfort, Andy Scott (wife: Debbie) of Rockville, and Greg Scott of Frankfort. Also surviving are his mother-in-law, Barbara Walker, and 5 grandchildren, Alexa, Gibson, Ruby, Ramon and Bethany.

Calling hours are 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Genda Funeral Home. Funeral service there at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jason Wells officiating. Burial Green Lawn Cemetery.
