Virginia Maxine Morrow

Virginia Maxine Morrow, 93, of Frankfort, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2014, at her home.    

She was born June 27, 1920, in Lebanon, the daughter of Archie L. and Amy H. Utterback Morrow.  

Virginia graduated from Frankfort High School in 1938.  She had lived in Frankfort, Lebanon, Indianapolis, and in Kokomo for 50 years.  Virginia was employed for 25 years at Kelvie Press and also worked for the State Employment Office in Kokomo.  She was a member of the First Christian Church in Frankfort.  

Virginia is survived by her niece and caretaker, Amy Bayless; nephews, Charles (Nancy) Davison and Stephen (Mary) Davison; and several other great nieces and nephews.  

In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Robert Morrow; and four sisters, Mable Marie Morrow, Gladys Mildred Davison, Marian Morrow and Hazel Kathleen Patchett.  

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10, 2014 at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort from 11:00 a.m. until the start of the funeral service beginning at 12:00 p.m.  Chaplin Ken Rushing will officiate.  Burial will follow in Eagle Creek Cemetery in Westfield.   Memorials may be made in Virginia’s name to Guardian Angel Hospice.  Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
