William "Bill" Conley Green

William “Bill” Conley Green, 68, of Batesville, formerly of Flora, passed away Friday, February 14, 2025, at The Waters of Batesville. He was born October 31, 1956, in Cincinnati to William Green and Norma (Templeton) Eckler. He married Lynne Killion, July 28, 2019, and she survives.

He was a graduate of Dillsboro High School and went on to earn his associate’s degree. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War where he served as a pilot. He owned his own truck driving business and worked for Koch Automotive. He was a member of Moores Hill Church of Christ. He enjoyed flying airplanes and spending time with his family. 

Along with his wife of nearly 6 years, Bill is survived by his father; children, William (Amberly) Green and Devonna (Adam) Wolter; stepchildren, Anthony (Jenna) Schroeder and Angela (John) Wight; sisters, Robin, Cindy, Candy, and Shelley; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Along with his former wives, Kathy, Donna and Karen; Bill was preceded in death by his mother; children, Johnny and Erica Green.

Graveside service will be held Thursday, February 20, 2025, at 12pm at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Lafayette with entombment to follow. Day & Genda Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements. Messages of condolence may be left at www.dayandgenda.com.
