Wilma A. Crum, 91, of Frankfort, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 3, 2014, at Wesley Manor Retirement Community in Frankfort.
She was born May 5, 1923, in Clinton County, the daughter of Ernest and Ruth Clingan Robertson. On October 8, 1941, she married Wayne Crum; he survives.
Wilma was a life-long resident of Clinton County. She graduated from Michigantown High School in 1941. Wilma was a homemaker. She was a member of Hopewell Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school and was active with the UMW. She was a member of Friendship Club of Beard and of the Eastern Star for over 50 years. Wilma loved to sew, cook, and had numerous hobbies.
In addition to her husband, Wilma is survived by her children, Susanne Kay âSusieâ Crum, Stanley Wayne (Nancy) Crum, and Jeanine (Tim) Garrison; five grandchildren, Renae (Craig) Kollen, Stacy (Jeremy) Shell, Paul Garrison, Jill Garrison, and John Garrison; six great grandchildren, Graham Kollen, Jacob Kollen, Corinne Kollen, Jared Shell, Carly Shell, and Corey Shell; and one brother, Bill (Alice) Robertson.
Wilma is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Wayne Robertson, Richard Robertson, and Larry Robertson; and one sister, Margaret Chandler.
Visitation for Wilma will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2014, from 4:00 â 7:00 p.m. at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, and also one hour prior to the funeral service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 6, 2014, at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery.
