Wilma Jean Davis, 85, of Frankfort, passed away Monday, May 25, 2015, at Wesley Manor Retirement Community.
She was born June 9, 1929, in Jackson Township near Antioch, to Eben and Delena Smith Frey. On February 16, 1946, she married Roy J. Davis; he passed away on May 13, 1973.
A lifelong Clinton County resident, Wilma Jean attended Frankfort Schools. She retired in 1985 after working at several places including National Cigar, P.R. Mallory, Clinton Prairie School System, and Mr. Robertâs Restaurant in Mulberry. Wilma Jean was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, VFW, and Women of the Moose. She was a past member of First Baptist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Dianna Lynne (Robert) Finney of Spencer, IA, Ronda Ann (Larry) Maxwell of Chowchilla, CA, and Kelly Sue (Ronnie) Burris of rural Frankfort; one brother, Robert Frey of Frankfort; four grandchildren, Amy Raetz, Sean Finney, Courtney Shambaugh, and J.R. Shambaugh; and four great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Wilma Jean is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Kenneth Frey.
