Winona E. Clem, 79, of Frankfort, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017, at her home.
She was born October 24, 1938, in Pittsboro, to the late Lawrence and Dortha Agan Marker. On July 2, 1966, she married William J. âBillâ Clem; he preceded her in death on October 14, 1988.
In 1956, Winona graduated from Pittsboro High School. She worked for the Indiana State Department of Revenue and was the owner and operator of Clemâs Tax Service from 1968 to 2010 which she greatly enjoyed. Winona enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and watching all sports especially the Colts and the Cubs.
Surviving Winona are her brothers, Keith E. Marker, of Frankfort, and Paul E. Marker, of Rossville; sister, Carolyn E. (Ronald) Nelson, of Clearfield, Utah; and friends, Joe , Susan and Kimmy Palmer, of Frankfort.
Visitation will be held on Thursday November 30, 2017 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. to the start of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Mark Mowery will officiate. Burial will follow in Lizton KP Cemetery. Memorials in Winonaâs name may be made to Frankfort Boys and Girls Club.
