Ronald D. Ross

Ronald D. Ross, formerly of Frankfort, passed away on October 6, 2023, after an extended illness. He was born on October 3, 1946, to the late Charlie and Phyllis (Price) Ross.

Ronald was a 1964 Frankfort High School graduate. He had many jobs in Frankfort before making the decision to move to Oregon. He later moved to Yuma, Arizona, and eventually settled in Mesa, Arizona where he became an LPN and later retired. He enjoyed traveling to different states and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his children Robyn Ryan, Charlene (Rob) Lomax, Patrick Ross, and Ronnie Ross. Also surviving are a sister, Jacque Hoskins and brother Mark (Jean) Ross, as well as 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Ronald was also preceded in death by his brothers, Phil Ross, Bill Ross and John Ross.

A celebration of Ronald’s life will be held on Saturday October 14, 2023, in the back room of the VFW #1110 309 N. Main St. Frankfort, Indiana from 3-6pm. Guests can enter through the back door of the VFW. Day & Genda Funeral Home is assisting the family with local arrangements.
